Calculating Values

Since the doll market has gone up by a lot, I thought of a fun way for everyone to calculate what they're really buying.
This is a fun, educational and easy way to figure out how much money you're paying for each item in the set.
Here's my interactive example...

Let's say you are buying the Floral Garden Dress for your doll.

There are 3 items in this set; the dress, shoes, and headband and the total price for this all is $28.
So, let's do the math.

Divide the total cost of the product by how many items are in the product. I got 9.3333. The 3 repeats forever so you can put a repeating bar over the 3 or you can just leave a numerous amount and it will be okay. Then you take the last two digits and see how they round. You're rounding to the nearest whole so any number above 5 will round up to $10 and any number below 5 will round down to $9.

$9.3333

In this case, we round down so we get $9.

That is about $9 per item in this set.

I hoped you find this helpful when you're buying more fun stuff for your dolls.
Enjoy!
